We first showcased our 'Twisted' Indian
Food at the Kingston Food Festival in August 2015 where our select menu caused a storm! Since then until Christmas 2015 we have been a regular stallholder on the
Latchmere Christmas Fair
Dima's Kitchen is proud to have hosted a stall for the Latchmere
Christmas Fair in Kingston. Serving a large array of hot meals, we served over a hundred visitors and made a whopping £400 for the school.
On sale was our slow cooked mutton curry with rice or
flat bread (which sold out the fastest!) alongside a creamy chicken curry; kebabs and bread. For vegetarians we had a lovely chickpea, butternut
squash and spinach dish and a coconut gnocchi which went down well. Our trademark Arancini was on sale and kids in particular
dragged their parents back for more!
We intend to offer similar stalls to schools, colleges and clubs and
other fundraising events throughout the year.
The Mayor's Diwali Party
One wet and windy night in October, we hosted a stall selling our
trademark dishes to the public at the Mayor's Diwali party. There was singing, dancing and of course eating. It is traditional at Diwali to have Indian sweets and these were on offer with a hot cup
Kingston Run Challenge and Marathon
We had a stall for both these events in the centre of Kingston for
runners, friends and families. We offered meals such as a Chickpea Salad, healthy Dosas, Tandoori chicken pieces in a wrap and
our Arancini. This together with refreshing Coconut Water was a welcome end to a gruelling but satisfying run.
BRAG (Burton, Richmond Park and Gibbon Roads Residents'
Association) Winter Warmup
On this freezing cold night, our signature dishes served in takeaway
boxes proved very popular. Revellers having enjoyed the music and mulled wine were glad to go home to the warm and heat up our tasty food for the family.
